"HOT STAMPING" of aluminum foil can
add value to your cards and put emphasis on the words or shapes that are in
foil. Various colors of foil are available for hotstamping. We offer free
hotstamping of SILVER, GOLD or HOLOGRAPHIC foil on all our plastic cards.
Note that hot stamping is recommended for larger shapes and text, not
fineprint.

What's better? Clear glossy or Clear frosted
cards?
Transparent cards are available in a
clear glossy or clear frosted finish, however,
there are two major advantages in choosing a clear frosted finish:
1. Higher Scratch
Resistance than the clear glossy finish.
2. Greater Contrast for Design (the frosted finish provides a milky
white base which increases the visibility and brightness of printed colors.

Spot UV printing on
paper and plastic cards.
As the name suggests, a Spot UV coating
or "varnish" is applied to chosen spots (areas), of a printed card. This has
the affect of highlighting and drawing attention to that part of the design,
but it also provides the additional visual stimulus of having varied
textures on a single printed surface. This adds a lot of interest, and can
identify the printing as a premium piece in the perception of the reader.

shapes.
