Glossy business cards or postcards are
laminated; therefore our glossy business cards and postcards are tear and
water resistant. They are also much more resistant than traditional paper
business cards.
Glossy business cards, with their high
gloss finish, are perfect for some specific designs, especially designs
that have a lot of photographic images, but then again, many other types
of design look just as good with a glossy finish.
The reason we mention that a glossy
finish is preferable for photo based designs is that the "wetness" of the
glossy lamination creates more vivid colors, if fact, the "wet" look of
the glossy finish is preferable when deep darker colors are needed,
especially black.
